Introducing James Clarke who grew up in Puerto Rico and later moved to Danvers, MA. He joined the Marine Corps to get a fresh start & be a part of a great team. James served as an infantryman with 2nd Battalion 2nd Marines. Early on he developed a pattern of coping with problems by making poor financial choices coupled with making mistakes in uniform. There was an element of embarrassment for him not living up to his expectations and making mistakes in front of his Marines. As James walks through his story, he conveys the weight of the world on his shoulders and merely wanted the pain to stop. He decided to end his life on Jan 2nd, 2025, by placing a gun to his head and pulling the trigger. A series of circumstances that are almost unbelievable without evidence allowed him to survive! James now shares his story and hopes it will help others find strength and convey that they are not alone!
